Uniquely designed Dreamcatchers made with love & healing.
Nancy A. Luis is an Indigenous Metis artisan who has created her unique artwork called “Spirit Catchers,” inspired by her Indigenous roots and teachings.
Nancy attended a weekend camping trip called the Witness Program run by the Squamish Nation in conjunction with the Round House Community Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The program exposed the old-growth logging practices, bringing worldwide attention to logging practices in our backyard – the old-growth forest.
Shortly after, Nancy signed up to attend the Native Education College learning about her cultural roots and teachings while earning diplomas in Aboriginal Tourism and Business Management & Family Community Counselling.
Her artistry/writing portfolios have been an array of opportunities:
2010 Winter Olympics Indigenous Artisan Program – selected from Indigenous artists from across Canada
2011-2014 Klahowya Village Train Ride in Stanley Park
Nancy participated in developing two theme stories for the Stanley Parks train ride
